shoulder skinned and rigged!!!

Well I finally have something decent in they way of 3D. Here is my characters shoulder rigged up. If you have any 3D experience you might understand why shoulder rigging is such a nightmare!! Now that you know this you can understand why this made me celebrate like a mofo!! I should credit Paul Neale at www.cg-academy.com for his tremendously well done rigging cds/videos for most of the help on setting this up properly!!

That's so funny about the cg academy dvd. I just saw this series for sale at Meltdown Comics in LA and I need to pick them up, when I saw your latest post on drawingboard I thought "I wonder if he watched those DVDs" because the process was so very well developed it just looked like something that comes from those. Great great work!

Very cool! Nice to see you have a range of extreme positions you can play with, with those shoulders, should make for some wild action packed animations.

Robin great work with the shoulder, the only thing that looked funny is the part where the arm shrugs. the shoulder squishes too much but other then that great work I myself have only taken one cg class at columbia chicago but loved it. Congrads on the interview and don't worry about your art it looks like your on your way to getting reconized. Question about the book. How did you go about getting a publisher?
